Welcome to Grace's Pantry!
Instrucciones En Español
Statistics show that over 37 million people in America are food insecure, including more than 11 million children. Covid-19 has almost certainly increased those numbers over the past few weeks. Families and individuals are forced to choose between buying food, paying rent, or seeing the doctor. In our efforts to help those who may be in need of food, iKnow Grace has established Grace’s Pantry as its newest service program. While we may not be able to provide food for millions, we will provide to as many as we can within the community.
Feeding the homeless is how iKnow Grace began, and we will continue to be a partner in the battle of fighting homelessness. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to serve and assist families and individuals experiencing difficult life circumstances. Grace’s Pantry will provide food to all. Families, individuals, grandparents taking care of grandchildren, seniors, single moms/dads, and veterans are all welcomed. Hunger and food insecurity can be an unfortunate way of life, or a new and much unexpected situation. But, with the help of our community partners, supporters, and donors, Grace’s Pantry is here to help!
NON DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, Grace’s Pantry is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. We further state that Grace’s Pantry will not discriminate on the basis of religion or religious belief.
Eligibility
Application
Eligibility to receive food from Grace’s Pantry is based on The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) guidelines. Applicants must live in Dallas County.
Based on food availability, Grace’s Pantry will provide fruits, vegetables, canned proteins, grains, and other non-perishable items to every eligible family that registers with our program.
All clients must complete a Household Application Form during their first visit of each calendar year.
Because we are under a shelter-in-place ordinance, and for the health and safety of our clients and staff, applicants will need to download and complete the TEFAP application.
We are currently working on an online version of the application, and hope to have that option available soon.
You must first download the form and save a copy to your computer or device (tablet / phone). Access the file you saved and then complete your information.
Once completed, you will need to save the file with your answers and forward the completed PDF file as an attachment via email or you can print and mail to our postal address. You can also download and print a copy of the application and complete by hand. If form is completed by hand, you will need to either scan a copy of the completed application and email as an attachment or mail the physical form via postal mail.
The following application is a fillable PDF that allows you to type your information in the blank fields.
